Casio AP420 Celviano Digital Piano with Bench
This is a digital piano full of liveliness and expression. The AP420 from Casio delivers a very authentic piano sound and a very realistic stop behavior with many modern features such as SD memory card slot and line out terminals. With its extensive sound and function facilities, the Celviano is suitable for everyone. Thanks to its new speaker system the instrument brings to the table powerful sound with its 2 x 20 watts amplifier and speakers. The elegant front consoles adds a special touch of aesthetics.
The innovative 16 tones creates a first class sound that is fully realized in classical piano style as well as in other genres. 128 polyphonic voices provide a piano sound of the absolute highest caliber. The expansion of the notes makes possible the interpretation of complex works and allows big chord playing as well as the intensive use of the damper pedal.
Other features include a keyboard with ivory touch and weighted scaled hammer action and tri sensor keys, a linear morphing system, acoustic resonance, four types of reverb, a duet mode, 60 preset songs, a two track recorder, USB port, four types of chorus, 3 pedals, Midi in and out jacks, and two head phone jacks.
Assembly of the piano is quite easy and should take less than an hour, even for one person doing the assembling alone.
The cabinet is attractive with a sliding keyboard cover, and the bench is very sturdy, with adjustable height.
The keyboard has an authentic mechanical feel to it, with very sturdy keys that have a realistic ivory feeling. Keyboards with a much higher price tag often have a much cheaper feeling, as though the keys are too loose and lack the kind of firmness that this keyboard has.
